The most exciting talent to emerge this year, singer, song-writer and producer Kali Uchis releases a new video for 'Loner', taken from her critically adulated mixtape 'Por Vida'. Directed by both herself and Andy Hines, this dreamy, seductive video stays true to its title, featuring Kali alone with only a dazzling montage of pink neon lights as company. Inspired by "mermaids, call-girls, the actress Mia Farrow, the film Scarface, and the director Quentin Tarantino", it serves as both the perfect companion to the sweetly soul-drenched tone of the song and an announcement of one of 2016's most exciting stars.

Finnish Indie-electronic duo Ideomotor released the new track, 'When We Begin', in close succession of the recent single Amplified, which received high praise around the online community.

Band member Erkka Wennonen described the long songwriting process for this particular track, and how taking it back to basics with  a minimal soundscape improved the message behind it.

"Our producer Sami Baldauf came to the rescue / stripped everything to the minimum and really found the essence of the song. In the end it turned out to be some of our strongest work to date in our opinion and actually catches the essence of what the song was all about in the first place – the moments when things take a new direction, be it either consciously by choice or the times when we’re utterly unaware of the significance of them."

Today MIAMIGO premiere the stunning new visual to 'Irreversible', a track taken from their critically acclaimed debut EP 'Hard to Love' released in June via their own label Indian Hop Recordings.

The band have been simmering along for the past year, dominating the Hype Machine blogs with their elegant alt-electronic pop.

MIAMIGO have compiled a soothing mix of old and new favourites of the band for a mixtape titled "Songs to Dance Alone To".  The mixtape premiered on Clash last Friday and reflects the duo's inspiration behind their trademark 'dark-pop' sound.

On the mixtape, lead vocalist Liam explains "I believe these songs are to be listened to alone. You can dance to them. You can reminisce. Some old, some new, these songs reflect a multitude of moods that conjure memories of our dreams and inspirations growing up and our musical muses as MIAMIGO. When I listen to these tracks on headphones I feel like I'm in a film. Like I'm part of an evolving story. The melodies create a euphoric feel in me that I find addictive. Perhaps you'll agree?"

The 'Hard to Love' EP is out now and available on:
